A huge improvement over the halogen lamp

The brightness of the LEDs is up to 220% higher than the minimum requirements of ECE R112 halogen lamps. Other advantages include a very high cold-weather color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin. Most significant is the service life, which is five times longer than halogen lamps, and glare from oncoming vehicles has been reduced by 50%.

The LED is only permitted in the respective countries where it has been approved, including Germany. The compatibility list of the listed vehicle models and lighting functions, as well as the exact conditions, can be found at www.osram.de/ledcheck

To install the LED lamps you need suitable installation accessories.

What variants are there?

For now, the H7, H4 and H1 versions have been launched on the market. It is not yet known whether there will be other sock versions such as H3, H8, H9, H15, H16 as well as HB3 and HB4.
