A huge improvement over the halogen lamp

The brightness of the LEDs is up to 450% more compared to the minimum requirements of the ECE R112 halogen lamp. Advantages also lie in the very high cold white color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin. Most significantly, the lifespan is 6 times higher compared to halogen lamps, and the glare for oncoming traffic has been reduced by 50%.

The LED is only permitted in countries where approval exists, including Germany. The compatibility list of listed vehicle models and light functions, as well as exact conditions, can be found at www.osram.de/ledcheck

You will need suitable installation accessories for the installation of the LED lamps.

Which variants are available?

For now, the H1, H4, and H7 versions have been introduced to the market. It is not known when the remaining socket versions such as H3, H8, H9, H15, H16, HB3, and HB4 will come to the European market.
