This street-legal LED retrofit lamp from Osram can also be used simply plug and play on motorcycles; this lamp packaging is designed for that purpose.

A huge improvement over the halogen lamp

The brightness of the LEDs is up to 220% greater than the minimum requirements for ECE R112 halogen lamps. Further advantages include the very high cool white color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin. Most significantly, the lifespan is five times longer compared to halogen lamps, and glare for oncoming traffic is reduced by 50%.

The LED is only permitted for use in countries where it has been approved, including Germany. The compatibility list of the listed vehicle models and lighting functions, as well as detailed conditions, can be found at www.osram.de/ledcheck

You will need suitable installation accessories to install the LED lamps.

What variations are there?

For now, the H7, H4 and H1 versions have been introduced to the market; it is not yet known whether there will be further sock versions such as H3, H8, H9, H15, H16 as well as HB3 and HB4.
